AGM 2009

This year's AGM will be held at The International Convention Centre, Broad Street, Birmingham on Thursday 16 July 2009 at 11am.  Doors open at 10am.

All eligible voting members will receive the AGM mailing between the 15 and 20 of June, so members should receive their mailing pack no later than 22 June.  Please allow sufficient time for your voting pack to arrive.  If you haven't received it by the  22 June please call 0800 30 20 15  to request a replacement.

Your AGM voting pack will contain two security codes which will need to be keyed when you are accessing the online voting facility.  Please keep these codes safe if you want to vote online.

The online voting facility is very simple to use and follows the same format as the printed voting form, you will be able to vote in the election of Directors and on all the resolutions.  Just by voting you could win any one of 10 prizes of £1,000 which we will put into a Nationwide Group saving account of your choice. You'll find the prize draw rules in the voting pack.

It's an important right that people have as members of a building society, and one they don't have if they are customers of a bank.  Our research shows that many members would be more inclined to vote if they could support a worthy cause by doing so.  Macmillan Cancer Support is our flagship charity that does fantastic work supporting people living with cancer.  Every vote this year will be worth 20p to Macmillan, up to our target of £250,000.
