The elderly are equally important as the young in our community, which is why the Society is delighted to have entered into a two year sponsorship agreement with Art in Hospital. This arrangement will see more long term patients in Scottish hospitals given art classes to promote and aid their recovery and there will be a programme of exhibitions and events, all by the local resident artists, in venues throughout Scotland.
The work of Art in Hospital does make a difference to people, displaying patient’s work means that hospitals can maintain a bright, and fresh look at minimum cost, while the patient gets a real sense of pride.
