Corporate Social Responsibility

Our CSR Policy

At Dunfermline Building Society we have a long tradition of supporting the community. As a good corporate citizen we aim to demonstrate our community commitment through our involvement with our members, our colleagues and our business partners.

Our CSR policy is about how Dunfermline Building Society manages the business to ensure that we have a positive impact on the communities in which we operate.

It is important that we align our activity to the aims and objectives of the Society as detailed in the Business Plan.

Our Community activity can be split into 2 key areas:

  • Corporate Community Investment is the way in which we commit resources to the community and community organisations, through a managed and structured sponsorship and financial assistance programme.
  • Employee Community Involvement is the way that employees can participate in community projects with our support. It is an excellent way of developing staff skills and recognising their personal commitment to the community.

At Dunfermline Building Society we see employee community involvement as a 'win, win, win' situation - making a difference to our people, our communities and to the Society.

  • Our commitment to the community makes a real difference - at a local and national level.
  • With the support of our people we will have 'a longer, happier, community relationship'.

If you have a community based project you would like to be considered, please write with full details of the project to: May McNeill, Community Relations Officer, Caledonia House, Carnegie Avenue, Dunfermline, Fife KY11 8PJ
