Difficulty Paying Your Mortgage

We appreciate that your circumstances may at, some time in the future; change and you may experience temporary or longer-term financial difficulties.

It is important if you find yourself in financial difficulties you let us know as soon as possible. The Society will deal with any difficulties that occur in paying your mortgage installments in a fair, sympathetic and positive manner. The aim is to reach an agreement, which is acceptable to both you and the Society. Re-possession of your home would only be as a last resort.

The Society follows the Council of Mortgage Lenders Statement of Practice when handling arrears and possessions and aim to Treat Customers Fairly at all times as detailed in the attached Factsheet.
