Building society customers invited to quiz directors

Customers of Dunfermline Building Society will have the chance to put their questions to directors during a live web event on Tuesday 9 June 2009.

The Online Talkback will be hosted by Tony Prestedge, Nationwide’s group development director and Gary Wilkinson, managing director responsible for Nationwide’s regional brands. It follows the acquisition of key parts of the Dunfermline by Nationwide in March 2009.

The event, which takes place between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, will allow customers to put their questions to Gary and Tony online on the night and have them answered in real time. Customers can also submit their questions beforehand and then log on to http://nationwide.twofour.co.uk/talkback/ during the event to view the questions being answered.

Nationwide has hosted more than 100 open talkback events across the UK and online since 1997 and the meetings are highly rated, both by those who take part and by the senior management team.

Gary Wilkinson said: “We are delighted to be able to offer customers of Dunfermline Building Society the chance to put their questions to myself and Tony during the first ever Online Talkback event for customers of societies that have become part of the Nationwide family over the past six months. The event will give us a great opportunity to address the questions and concerns of our customers, particularly as many will want to know more about how being part of Nationwide will impact on them.
